Detailed instructions with text and pictures to help you make gorgeous Laramie braids. To make a Laramie braid you will need a Kumihimo disk, some braiding cord, at least 10 plastic bobbins and a core to braid around. The core can be many materials such as a piece of rope or satin cord, a piece of plastic tubing or wire. To finish your design you will need some thread, 2 end caps and a clasp. To work out the overall braiding cord length you will need, the general rule of thumb is 3 times the length of cord equals the length of braid, times the number of bobbins. It's time to experiment with the art of Kumihimo!
