DIY beaded necklace pattern: wooden beads and cord

Easily create a wooden bead and cord necklace that is natural, lightweight, and trendy. This design is perfect for summer thanks to its boho-chic style and lovely central gold bead.

This tutorial is suitable for beginners and can be adjusted to the desired length.

Materials needed

Necklace composition: 20 wooden beads + 1 gold bead + 20 wooden beads.

Steps

1. Prepare the cord
Cut approximately 90 cm to 1 m of LEA993 cord. Adjust the length according to the desired drape.

2. String the beads
String 20 wooden beads BP426, then add the gold bead BP422 in the center. Finish with 20 more wooden beads.

3. Check the length
Try the necklace on. Add or remove a few beads if necessary.

4. Attach the clasp
Secure the round spring ring clasp F190 to the ends of the cord using sturdy knots. Trim any excess cord.

Customization tip

You can create a shorter version by removing a few beads, or a longer version by adding more BP426 beads. For a more graphic style, add a second gold bead BP422.
